We’re venturing to the Garden State to speak with a couple who spent 35 years in business together and lived to tell about it. These two may be the sitcom Jewish parents you never had—because they’re the sitcom Jewish parents who taught Honey everything she knows about a couple in business together. We’re talking about Ina Cohn and Jerry Cohn of Label Makers, Inc., better known as Honey’s parents and Blaine’s in-laws. This conversation is unique. It’s partly tips from a lifetime in business together, and it’s partly a valentine to two people who’ve had an extraordinary relationship through 35 years in business and 60 years of marriage. You’ll hear tips about being in business alone vs. with a spouse, about finances, about the right way to treat your vendors, and what happens when technology starts to change your livelihood. You’re going to hear anecdotes and, perhaps most importantly, love and laughs.
